Ubon Ratchathani is one of Thailand’s largest provinces and called by many the capital of Isaan (North East, Thailand) though those from Udon Thani will say the same about their province. It’s the most eastern province, borders Laos and is close to Cambodia. Population is about 1.9 million.
The province is referred to in both Thai and English most commonly as just as Ubon. The only time I ever hear it used in full name “Ubon Ratchathani” is flight attendants giving speeches. If you say Ubon in Thailand everyone knows what/where you’re talking about.
Also to put in perspective as is common here Ubon is both the name of the province and the name of the provinces capital city as well as the name of the main city.

It's of course recognizable to Thais when searching Ubon queries in Google in Thai Script. .org is not hugely popular but a number of government sites do use them for their English versions.
I know its probably not worth a TON, but only 4 characters in a decent extensions. Internet will become more and more popular in Ubon as time passes so maybe $80 to renew it out 10 years its worth gamble someone wants it.
I'm curious to hear if anyone thinks this might have decent value, because part of me is contemplating moving 2 Ubon for 2 months seeing what there is to see there etc. (wouldn't mind doing this regardless) making a non monetized site out of it I can grow and then either sell or turn into a business project later. The other side of me is like nah just list it cheap and sell it.
