    It is.

And while it sucks, they do convert very well like Casino Mack mentioned. Last month they converted at almost 10% for me.

So while a lot of people don't seem to like them due to low commission %, I like them because I can find niches to jump into where I can get thousands in (quality buying) traffic, send 30%-ish to Amazon and let them convert that at 10%. So yeah, percentages are low, but volume is high. So if you stick to the $150+-ish range when choosing products to push (and preferably higher), you can end up doing ok.

That's just my experience with them though.

Edit: I should point out that converting with Amazon (albeit high) seems to be different than what you might get elsewhere. Meaning, with other programs, your conversion is based on a person buying or completing an action. Often times (like gambling for example), a player can't complete this action more than once -- like sign up to the same poker room. Amazon though, bases their conversion on quantity. So the more a person buys, the higher your conversion rate. One day I had something nuts like a 30% conversion rate because this person bought like 20 things. I guess my point is that the high conversion rates can be taken slightly with a grain of salt. It only takes a person or two to somewhat inflate your numbers.

I do like their program only for the conversions. However, they have changed affiliate terms and earnings more than or on par with the poker rooms we have dealt with.

What you lack in income will be made up for by using snoods as a way to boost yourself from 4% (starting comm) to 6.5%+ quickly since Amazon moves you up based on quantity. So if you have sites that sell more expensive products (I'd go for $150-$200 plus min), you'll make 50% to 100% more on each one. In other words, use your snood site as leverage to make more from more expensive items you might be selling elsewhere.

If you don't plan on building other sites using Amazon, I'd pass. It won't be worth your time imo. I'd be willing to bet with some effort you'd make much more finding some sort of private advertising deals or something along those lines.
Agree 100% with you. I did the maths and I'm only likely to make a couple hundred dollars per month maximum selling $7 snoods.

I actually got the idea for registering the domain because my friend has been selling football snoods (bough from a supplier) on ebay. I could just re-direct my traffic to his page and charge him a monthly fee. Idk. Either that or negotiate an advertising deal with some high-end snood designer store. You're definitely right about only selling products worth $150-$200. That is something I'd be looking to do in future.

    Cheers for all advice guys.

Well its worth it if you are going to leverage that site for other higher margin Amazon sites to get a better commission. Also don't forget you receive commission on all Amazon products, not just the ones you are promoting (they have a huge inventory so I'd imagine customers are buying other items a lot).
