One of five ways:

1) Get lots of traffic and then sell it to Google for $1.2 billion dollars, so they can make no money with it just the same.
2) Have no sound monetization plan in place and then IPO it based on traffic volumes and raise $3.4 billion.
3) Charge a $49.95 fee to anyone interested in removing a photo, page or series of comments from your site. (though not sure how that might work, perhaps would be better to do an IPO based on this idea, so if it doesn't work you already got the monies).
4) Get them to click a button that will show what the two people in the photos baby would look like, and install toolbars and spyware while they are distracted.

There are many, many ways to make money with a photoblog such as that and the #1 route I'd go is media buys - I'll try and write some articles on photoblogs this week or next week. It's by no means a sure way to make money - and a lot of the things you attempt to monetize it will be hit and miss - but sites like these are great to run because they're no-brainers in terms of work. Your visitors will do your work for you(eventually) by submitting photos and even write descriptive text and the jokes etc for you. They'll also do 99% of the link building work for you too.
