Anyone found a way to monetize Pinterest?

Anyone found a way, or read any good ways affiliates can monetize Pinterest yet? Obviously, retailers can post pics of their own stuff. As a poker affiliate though I am still kind of scratching my head.....

A while back I grabbed OnlinePoker (onlinepoker) on Pinterest & OnlineCasino (onlinecasino) on Pinterest

Obviously I haven't touched them yet or done anything with them. If anyone has any ideas, I'd be open to partnering up on them as well.

Just wanted to take a closer look at it again.
Is it just me or do they really only send invitations that take some time until you're able to register?

You need to have an invite to register, apparently this is a tactic they employed to combat the spammers. They also require that you link a twitter or facebook profile.

Funny, as I am browsing the forums I come across this post as my wife sits beside me "pinning" on Pinterest for the last 4 hours.

I'm still just sitting on those accounts. I imagine with the right keywords you could probably get some pinterest pages to rank with various longtails. Then just cookie stuff the images, jk . If anyone wants to experiment or use the /onlinepoker or /onlinecasino shoot me a PM and we can work out a deal.

I'd rate it as a simple .jpg hosted on pinterest. I don't get it?

What are you going to post pictures on Pinterest? I think the best option - it is:

1) generate a story
2) to find suitable pictures
3) add a picture with gambling
4) combine all in one, as in the picture above.
5) add a description

Example a description of the image above: "Traffic jam, salmon with salsa, red wine, goldfish slot and good night".
There are many different categories. Who search for salsa - see gambling.
