I am using it in one of my niches and have had moderate success.

Not sure what the best strategy is in picking the product your want to promote, but I have just been promoting the top products for my niche.

Conversions are not too great, and I think you really need to presell the visitor to get theme to purchase. I have had much more success with preselling them to the sales page than directly linking to the sales page.

I am going to start experimenting with video reviews/presells and see how that can help.

what do you mean 'use it' ?

I sell a few info products through clickbank and it works great. Poker Dealing Course (taught by a bellagio poker dealer) and a poker tournament director course. (links in sig)

as far as selling things through clickbank... if you find a good product to sell there (90% is crap imo) then they pay aff's like clockwork... I've had positive results.
Promote the only Home Based Poker Dealing School on the net via Clickbank with these banners.

I sell a couple clickbank products via PPC.

It is best, and with PPC almost necessary, to have a presell page.

Look for products with some affiliate resources, at least when starting out. (ie banners, keywords, articles etc.)

Like Spry said, much of what is on Clickbank is crap (yet some still sells), so look for quality products. Also Clickbank refunds are quick and easy for the buyer, so you want something they wont return.

The real money is with owning a product, and getting affiliates selling it.

Made money, I just wouldn't ever tell anyone that I make a living selling clickbank products. Even the legit deals are made to look like scams just to fit in.

    Yea, I agree with that.

Just to be clear I make about $500/year with a $250/year ad spend. So I don't make any real money with it, about $20/month.

I would assume if a person promoted multiple products, and fine tuned there campaigns they could make a tidy sum.

I make a little over $10 a month from 2 sales. I recommend promoting products with recurring payment. Great way to build passive income. Too bad I don't focus on selling clickback products though.

I sell an e-book on Clickbank and have been very happy with the service so far. It's a strange feeling to never worry about late payments, missing players, changing terms, etc.
Even if you fall on your face, you're still moving forward.

I was thinking after I posted before that I do think this is a great thing if you have a product to sell. There are some very smart affiliates that will push your stuff very hard if you can just manage to get them on board. Bit like poker I guess.

I used to use it before it really went into the toilet. Not the company, the product choices.

They pay on time, but like someone said already there are so many returns.

I'm repeating, but its true, if you create a successful product and then get affiliates on board it will sell really well. Remember Google Cash? Faddy products do well if you presell your buzz before getting or while its on clickbank.
