Drove almost 1.5 hours to get to a nice store today, I live in the mountains where there are no great stores for mens clothing, and the only tailor I could find didn't really speak english and she told me to meet her in some weird place between 3-5 on a thursday or friday. There are no mufflers stores either, so I made a road trip.

if you are talking business gear - shirts, ties, suits, cufflinks etc. then this London based outfitter is a place I've used on multiple occasions and very, very good quality - and a price that is hard to beat.

The proper response here would have been "If you want nice stuff, don't buy it online". I now own a $1,000 shirt. It did not cost this much, but after initial price of 230, if you include 3 tailoring sessions at 2 separate tailors (1.5 hr drive 1-way for each session), I think this shirt is worth about 1K when you consider my time and effort here. Even a high end site like brooks brothers or the other end of the spectrum saks fifth avenue - will have loose fitting chart specs that are not specific to each shirt and you dont know what you get till you try it on.
