JD started posting on his account which could be why he is banned? I am not sure.
So it was Jd's account? Whatever, why all his posts/pms are deleted? I ordered 60 articles from him sometime back and had some info regarding article titles in one of his pms. Had a tough time yesterday searching for all those titles

Not sure what happened but it is possible he was 'one touch banned and cleaned' which does indeed automatically erase all posts by that person. i *thought* the settings were that it could only be used on new posters or people with less than a certain amount of posts, not typically someone who has an established account.
Also i'm not sure what happened in this situation, just explaining that it was probably the one touch ban / clean feature of the forum.

That sounds like a dangerous tool then.
I have thousands of PMs in my inbox (sent and received), and often refer to them for my business.
I would hate to see my account wiped out one day as a mistake.

i'm fairly certain you can set it (actually it comes out of the box this way i think) to only do this for people who have under a certain number of posts... it's handy as hell for deleting spammers. perhaps frankd only had a handful of posts? I don't know.

I think if Im not mistaken it was set for 50 anything over 50 and the posts had to be deleted manually.

No it actually belonged to his friend but he used it after he asked for his ban.So it was Jd's account?

I've already figured it out so no problems now. It was just a lil bit annoying to find out that all the pms between us have been deleted.
