I have thought for awhile that the market is wide open for a real competitor of PayPal, of course I would assume this requires billions in funding. PayPal has always been a fucking joke, as has been eBay for the past 5+ years.

Couldn't agree more. I had thought Alert Pay would do well in competition, but it appears not. However, there's an emerging company out there that seems to be picking up pace. Mostly cause it allows full payment in physical shops using their system through your phone which I thought was fuckin awesome. So many times I have funds stacked in online accounts that I wish I could actually shop with while roaming about.
