Best Christmas Present Ever

So tonight I got the best Christmas present ever. My Grandpa is 90 years old and has been a farmer all his life. My Mom gave me his 1950's "Royal Stetson" hat. My Grandpa only wore this hat when he put a suit on to attend weddings, funerals, holidays, or other special occasions over the last 50 years.

To me, this is a family heirloom. My Grandpa is a GREAT man and someday when my daughters have kids and I am wearing this hat (which I will be), it will be neat to show them this picture and tell them that this hat was their great-great Grandpa's with a picture to go with it.

Wow, what a cool gift. Never had a "Family Heirloom", but I think this qualifies! Just had to share!

He looks really young, healthy, and very happy too Sounds like one of the best Christmas presents you could have gotten. You can show it to your kids and grandchildren for years to come.
