What Type Of Vacuum Do You Use ?

I usually just buy the cheep vacuums from Walmart for like 50 to 100 bucks but they seem to break down every 6 months or so. I'm thinking about investing into a Dyson or Kirby. Some of the reviews I get from Google are hilarious.. Take this one for example for the Dyson DC33:

Pros: The sucking power
Cons: Bad design, poor product

PROBLEMS: When I got it home the sucking power was so strong it was lifting the carpets up into the vacuum, even the wall to wall carpets. Every time it does this it makes a horrific sound and you think you just vacuumed up the cat.

What do you guys use ? Any recommendations ?

Lol, I wouldn't say that - maybe it depends on your carpet. The first time we used it though I had to empty it about halfway through as it was already full from the crap that our previous vacuum hadn't picked up!

Get a maid ftw. It's all about outsourcing.

Toss the vac and invest in hardwood floors. You would be surprised at the amount of crap left between the carpet and underlay and underlay and floor.
