That's a hell of a lot of stupid people in this post. The abortion okay no problem there at all. That's a debate over life, have that debate, fight on or whatever you'd like. The rest of it like wtf. And seriously,I'm not a gay rights advocate in the slightest but having an issue with a company who hires a gay person as their spokesman, or hatin' on someone because they are gay, and then talking about values, man seriously male or female I don't care - I'd love to punch that person in the nose.

I'm sure calmed down in a few minutes won't feel that way, but I'm just shocked hate organizations like 1 million moms and ku klux klan still exist

Something I agree with you on.

I do consider myself to be a conservative, and the 1 million moms organization is a conservative organization, but I don't think JCPenney has hired Ellen because she is gay. If you look at her audience base, there are a lot of stay-at-home moms who love that show and that's why Penney's has hired her. Not everything in this world has to be about the most controversial aspects of life, as if Ellen can't do anything mainstream because she happens to like chicks.

Now, I do disagree that 1 million moms is anything closely related to the KKK. And I think your comparison there, to even use them in the same sentence, is a little out there. The KKK burned crosses on people's lawns and lynched people. 1 million moms voiced their opinion against a company based upon a business decision that goes against their core values.

Do you think all of the people who protested Susan G Komen recently are also like the KKK?

People who are hardcore either for or against people being gay or w/e are idiots. If you are gay, ignore them. If you're not, ignore them. Abortion affects people who have no say, so there's more cause for argument there. The people who argue the gay crap are just self-righteous idiots.
