    Default iphone 8G or 16G?

I'm considering buying an iphone. These are my options:

    8G Refurbished $100
    8G New $200
    16G New $300

This is with a 2 year contract

Generally with these kinda things I always buy the max, but I can't see myself storing tons of data on the phone and think I'd probably be fine with the 8G and I doubt refurbished matters much so I save $200. On the other hand $200 is peanuts to have the better phone for 2 years.

Which one makes the most sense?

8g is plenty for music, but if you want some movies on there or whatever so you can watch on the plane 16g can go fast.

I'd personally say the 16g, but you can't go wrong for a refurb for just a hundo either man.

I went with the 16gb...The reason being is you can never have to much storage. The other is the resell value of the phone, if you sell it later you will get most of the difference back.

Okay thanks guys. I went with the refurbished for $100 figuring If I decide I want to upgrade I'll give this one to my daughter for her Birthday or Christmas and get the upgraded on for myself.

I got mine through AT&T who is exclusive iphone service provider in the US. That's their price for refurbished phones with 2 year contract.

A bit of a hijack here, but what's everyone's opinions on a nice new blackberry vs an iPhone?

I'm looking to get a new phone in the very near future, and I'm not entirely sure which will be best.

No problem with hijack this thread is over, but figured we'd get more responses with a new thread so I started one:

    Blackberry versus iPhone.. discuss

No big deal but if I mod reads this thread please lock so we don't end up with 2 active threads on same topic.
