I'm pretty sure I should stay away from this thread.......as well as Spry, MJ, and Randy, lol

Although the MN Governor said it best "I'd rather have Michael Vick watch my dog for the weekend than the government spending our tax dollars for a year."

Obama sounded so much better during the election. Now that he's broke virtually every promise I considered important, especially transparency, and now he's spending tax money my great-great-great-great-great granddaughter will contribute when she gets her first job (hope that makes sense)...he's not looking very good anymore. The other side isn't doing any better though....I'll be voting for Ron Paul if he runs next election. I'm don't get into politics much (I just read rawstory when I eat) though so don't try to start a debate with me.

Printing money out of thin air just asks for problems later. Whatever happened to letting the market take care of things?

"letting the market take care of things" is how the world got in the damn mess in the first place

politians arent to blame - they understood the sneaky, greedy, stupidity of the banking industry about as much as the rest of us

people were stupid borrowing more money than made sense
but the real morons - criminally moronic IMHO were / are the greedy bankers

its the bankers who recut, rehashed, recyled and re-recut the debt ten dozen different ways to the point none of them could tell the sh*t from the tat, kept quiet and kept the bullsh*t wagon rolling until it finally caught up with them ...

that made overborrowing a 1000 times worse on assets and debts that simply didnt exist - all the phine number money and figures is about as illustionary as the investment vehircles the bankers manufacted to keep the debt moving around and them all earning get rich quick "profit" and commissions from moving the debt / repackaging etc

like one stupid retarded game of naked pass the parcel ... no one said a damn thing as long as they werent holding the timebomb when the music stopped ... but it did ... the music stopped more frequently, they put in more and more timebomb parcels to keep in the air and passing round

then the music stopped and all the banks suddenly realised they'd all ended up with some of someone sh*t repackaged as clay

at which point it suddenly became everyone elses problem

doesnt make a bit of difference who you vote in for the next 20 yrs

they will all have to deal with the problem the bastard banks have somehow offloaded - IMHO the prisions should be full of a sh*t load of bankers for crimes of fraud etc - thats what they have done

politicans will have to work their idological goals into a pretty tight band of cuts etc whoever they are - the question is should we have all bailed the banks out to now be finding they are all paying themsleves bonuses again ...

the world really isnt run by elected government - its run by the bankers

I used to stress over all this, now I just do what I can do and that's all.

Every ounce of energy spent fretting the system is wasted imo. Love people, share hope, create opportunity, freedom and good fortune for those around you..maybe this gets contagious.

This is a more peaceful, enjoyable and meaningful life.. then continuing to add to the fear mongering (which half of what is being spread is the intent of those behind it to do - create and spread fear).

If there is a world worth saving, traditions worth preserving/restoring, then it starts with a whole lot of people doing just a little bit. If you care about all that, then it starts with self and then sharing with people closest to you. However, that little bit it takes.. is likely not about sounding the alarms, spreading a message of now or else, when the battle ahead seems so impossible to overcome. Instead focus on messages of hope and freedom. Have unbreakable faith yourself and others will see it, take comfort in it, be lead to freedom through it and develop faith of their own.. be a remarkable and magnificent person yourself and give others the freedom needed to be the same. Maybe it sounds crazy but that's the way I see a good future.. go out and really love people around you, give up selfish and jealous thoughts, live free yourself and others around you more likely to be free. A world like this evil has less power against. For anyone that care: It all starts with you!
