Other markets?

Could not really find a good place for this one.

A lot of people here talk about being in the casino and poker scene. Affiliate, SEO or whatever. But what about other markets, are you in for example bingo, backgammon or even such a distinct thing as forex? If you are not in these markets, will you consider aforementioned ones? Or do you want nothing to do with them?

I like rummy - Not many people there so easy to rank for and players are decent enough

Looks pretty fun. Never heard of Kalooki before though. Sounds like an African Witch Doctor. Are you only in rummy or is this on the side?

Kalooki is the English version of rummy and is actually played in a lot of the poker clubs here in the UK - I may be wrong but I am pretty sure Cardschat.com was started as a kalooki forum orginally

All the affiliate stuff I do is on the side and is pretty small as I am so busy doing the events and mags but I would say rummy is 50/50 with my poker stuff - I have a small casino site (rubbish) and a bingo site but selling that over the next week or so

Well, i would suggest try something that not related to Gambling. For example, Travel site or fishing site.

If you are in big city then go for travel site, write article about all cool places in your city.
suggest tourist where to visit and where to go, include direction.

then create a Google Adsense account then put 2 or 3 ads in your site. then try to rank your city name or city name travel guide.

Traveling is that not highly competitive? Sounds like an even more killer market than the gambling industry.
