Default Ideas for your sites - $10 a pop!

I'm a self proclaimed creative person. Rember those TV commercials where you could text a number on your cell phone and they would send you a joke for like a buck? Sometimes you'd get a good joke, sometimes you'd get a lame one.

So, now that I have a few years experience under my belt as an affiliate, I am offering a service to new and established affiliates. Ask me a question. Any question. I'll come up with an idea for you. Got a domain name and wonder what to do with it? Got a webpage you want to change but not sure what to do? Are you looking for a big idea? One of my $10 ideas might become your million dollar idea!

This is not a joke. Send me $10 via paypal and you'll get to probe my amazing creative, slightly excentric brain powers. My ideas are not for the wimps. Like the phone joke service, you'll get some ideas that aren't as good as others, but if you buy 100,000 ideas from me, I almost guarantee you'll have at least one million dollar idea in there.

That's right folks! Step right up and give me your money, and I will give you wisdom.

OK, clearly some of you still don't get my sense of humour.

This thread was actually a joke/social experiment. I was just waiting for someone to post a FTW??? comment.

I had a few $10 offers already, and declined them. I'd be happy to help out in any way I can. Charging for "input" sorts of defeats the purpose of the forum now doesn't it? Hehe!

Don't wanna seem boring but maybe someone could move this thread to the Coffee Shop since it seems it will keep getting bumped which means that other people will bump their sales threads etc.

    Just a boring suggestion.

You know what? I'm actually going to throw out some of my crazy ideas since I know I will not be developing them. Like it? take it!

    1. collectivepolls.com - A free service for affiliates of various industries. They can poll their visitors by choosing pre-establish polls from a database, group by industry and industry niches. They get to include their own affilaite links in the poll values. For example, if the poll is what's the best poker room out of these 5 rooms, you get to add your affiliate link to those 5 rooms on your own site.

Poll results are shared amongst multiple sites, so if site A and Site B share the same poll, the votes from either site affects the results on all sites using that particular poll. Everymonth, you reset the counters to zero, but keep a history of data for market analysis. (which could be published and sold).

How do you make money with this? There can be a lot of way, I just mentioned one. Another is to sell text links which would appear at the bottom of the polls. That's the tradeoff for being able to use the collective polls for free, a small text link from an advertiser. Advertisers could pay per click, or use different models. One specific poll could have the same text link all the time, or rotate between ads as the page refreshes. Text link can be very targetted under this environement.

2 - pokerspoofs.com - With some cash and creative writing, one could create a site that features flash videos of popular poker players (or fictional like daniel negreamoo which would be a cow character). You take existing poker commercials and rewrite them. The goal is to create a viral site when people actually want to tell others about the videos when they see them. Build traffic, sell advertising space. Simple. But expensive to develop.

    Want more? $10 bucks please.

you really need to check your url suggestion for poker spoofs ... it could also be really good (politically incorrect) site for promoting gay poker ... pokers poofs.com

maybe thats a UK niche term - not sure if means the same in US ?

I was tempted on the 100,000 ideas especially when you said there would be at least one million dollar idea ... but then I realised if there was only one then it was a break even proposition at a tenner a pop

    its still genuis idea

    ;-)

    cheers SB
