I just received an email allegedly from the Nigerian Tennis Federation:
hello,
it's my pleasure to say compliment of the season to you.
i will like to inform you that we have some players which the governor of our state want to sponsor down to your academy for two weeks training programme in your academy and the fund for this trip as already being approved.
i will be glad to read from you as soon as possible because of time. and i want it to be January 2009.
thanks for your co-operation.
best regard,
opeyemi aminu,
secretary,
Nigeria tennis federation.
I forwarded the mail to the real Nigerian Tennis Federation just in case.
But since I am quite keen to know how they are planning to make some money off me, I will probably answer that email.
Since they really seem to have planned something original for me, I think it would be unfair not to think about an equally individual way of getting back at them. Btw, they reached me thru the "Contact" form of my website (I run a tennis academy).
Since you guys all know how to think "out of the box", I'd like to hear some suggestions, the more devious, the better....
