Hi everyone,

How did everyone get into poker affiliating. What's all your background stories/previous jobs? Anyone had really good ones?

Personally I'm just a 3rd yr student @ University Manchester;the search for a career is upon me haha.

I was a carpenter for bout 30 years. Always did love working with my hands and seeing the finished product when done.

I got my start in affiliating as just a way to plug what I felt was the best room to play at the time. The room was new, and it was the only room I played back then.

Anyhow, long story short, my health went bad (cancer among some other things) and I started taking this affiliate thing more serious as a way to try and make ends meet around the house. Not made much really, but with the wifes work too, it has helped to keep us afloat.

I used to work for a large Scandinavian online gambling site. One day I Google something and stumbled across a thread at PAP where someone was selling a website. I bought that site and here I am 3 years later doing this full time.

Well, they started off in chronological order then i got all confuddled and just wrote them as i remembered!

Nope I sold it a year after I bought it for a healthy profit. Then re-invested all the money from that sale in my current main site which I was close to selling a while back but i'm glad i didn't
