Wow, so that's what $18 millions worth of website look like.

There is a big red button saying "Report Fraud, Waste & Abuse" in the top right corner.
On that page it says "One of the core missions of the Recovery Board is to prevent fraud, waste, and mismanagement of Recovery funds."

If I would have been American I would have reported the site itself in a heartbeat.

Truth is generally somewhere in the middle. There are a lot worst examples of waste. Actually, depending how they use the $18 million this might not be that bad of an idea, could be a decent one in fact. i doubt that's the case, but again probably all falls somewhere in the middle. Afterall abc might be slightly more credible than fox, but still they're not a credible news source.
If you're going to bet US Sports online - I strongly suggest 5Dimes.com or Bookmaker.eu.

Some succeed because they are destined to, but most succeed because they are determined to.

I remember hearing about that this summer. At this point nothing that takes place in D.C. (District of Corruption) surprises me anymore.

Although the good news is that some white house peeps came out this week and said that the recession is over and we indeed are in full recovery. Let the good times roll bitches.

There are three kind of people in this story, possibly; a journalist who does not know what he is talking about; a government official who has too much money to spend; a smart web designer who retired early.

I would say it is a forgone conclusion that the latter two are far more likely than the former.
