Been working out steady for four weeks now, but only using supplements for the first week. Can't tell if it helps yet, because working out alone make me feel healthier than ever.
This is pretty much identical to my supplementation regime. I like having a protein shake in the morning as it doesn't make you feel full for the rest of the day.

Completely agree. If you're not supplementing along with a good diet, and viewing supplements simply as a meal replacement, you won't make solid gains.

Actually I just blogged about supplementation the post includes a few not so common supplements.

I better get my ass to the gym, I'm in miserable shape these days. As far as supplements go I keep it fairly simple:

Designer protein(combination of whey and casein)
Maltodextrin (mixed in the protein shake post-workout)
    Kre-alkalyn (creatine)
Unsaturated fatty acids. I use Udo's choice
    multivitamins + vitamin C
Meal replacement(protein with added low GI carbs and healthy fats)

The hardest and most important part is what you eat. You can have great results without using any supplements with just a quality diet, but it's so tough to eat right day in and day out.

Now is actually a great time to start getting in shape for summer!
