Thanks Becky - Ill def keep my eye out for it. I really really hope CTV doesn't spin the illegal bit of online gambling - hopefully Ontario will follow the other provinces.

Should be an interesting show...will definitely be setting the pvr for this one.
What did you guys think?
For those who missed it, here's the link to the documentary...I really enjoyed it! The first half focuses on Calvin, Bodog and Antigua while the second half focuses on online gambling, Kahnawake, and the Mohawks.

I liked it although the first part I think touched on the "illegal" aspect a bit much. I did like the Antigua Finance Minister was interviewed and said he had no problems with Calvin. I was actually a bit annoyed with the W5 opinion until that part aired. I also liked that you guys were able to show what Calvin has done for the community.
The second half - I think the guy who spoke on behalf of the Mohawks could have come across a bit better. He seemed to be a bit arrogant and that's fine, but I doubt the we have whatever rights we want will win the approval rating of people who do not live on the reserves and are against the supposed illegal gambling. I think it's a touchy subject when you have areas that do have issues with laws surrounding Canadians and the Nations, especially when it comes to hunting, land etc. So when someone from the Mohawks jumps on TV and gives the impression (and this is what I got from his interview) STFU we can do whatever we want, were not Canadians - it doesn't send the right message.
I am interested to see what happens when the provinces launch their casinos - including Ont. The idea of the OLGC succeeding, but at the same time introducing loads of players who didn't give a second thought to casinos online, till Rama became available in their livingroom is a bit appealingI think the provinces will just open the doors to potential players we may not have seen otherwise. Will def be neat to see what they do with their websites as well.
Overall though I think it was well done.
