Telling players to clear cookies is heavily looked down upon and outlawed by most poker rooms. This is why I don't have that on my website and why Rakeback affiliates should not be using first cookie order, but last cookie.

Is this true? I've never heard that. I thought it was common practice for rakeback affiliates to advise players to clear cookies before signup and that most rakeback affiliates do it including most of the largest and most reputable ones.

1. Affiliates should request all new players to clear cookies. You can see on my sites I don't do this, but I should probably start. If I close the deal, I should get the player.

Although it is generally frowned upon by other affiliates and some programs many big rakeback sites still have the "clear your cookies' instructions on their site to avoid these non-tracking player issues.

2. I would like to have a real bonus code, I know some affiliate hate this idea, but I want to have something unique on my site, and the bonus codes should over-ride the link IM. If you close the deal on your website, they would not be at mine.

There is a super simple solution for this that virtually no rooms implement.

• Issue a bonus code to affiliates
• When a link is followed to the poker site, the bonus code/marketing code is automatically filled in with the corresponding affiliates bonus code, ideally the code is greyed out and not editable and would also list what the bonus is next to the box.

By doing this, the player sees that they have gotten a bonus, what the bonus is, and it also protects the affiliates from people googling "PokerSiteX Bonus Code"

3. If we are just talking about who should get it, 1st or last, I think last makes sense. But a real bonus code makes this a moot point. I know my opinion is unpopular, but that's just me.

There are certainly valid points for both sides but I believe the last cookie is probably the fairest.

I like to use car buying as a good analogy. I'm out shopping for my new car, just looking around and can't quite decide on exactly what model I want after driving and looking at a few different cars. A week later I go to a different lot (different website), and the salesmen is very informative and helpful and convinces me to buy car X. Obviously, the carman who sold me the car gets the commission not the first lot I visited.

I just wanted to let you know that after thinking this through, I am going to change the process at Aced so that the last cookie gets the signup.

I think that this is the best way overall. Since we don't allow custom bonuses at Aced, the actual value comes down to Rakeback or Non Rakeback. In this situation, I feel that whoever actually gets the player to signup should get the player (since they can't offer a better bonus or better rb% over other affiliates).

I have spoken with the affiliate that has sungsam tracked to him, and was able to work something out with him so that I can move the player to trikkur. I do not like to do this, but I think its fair in this instant.

As others have already mentioned. Excellent solution from one of the best Affiliate Managers in the business.

There can be some way of setting tracking for rake back affiliates.

Can you get the programming logic to check if the new click is from a rakeback affiliate, then he overrides the old cookie.

Indeed, full tilt used to do this I think. Not anymore....It's the only feasible option imo to keep from bonus code scalping.

But didnt get a chance to solve it, they was tracked and thats it .... however, not the premium site for promoting anything
