Default Quick General Question for Affiliate Managers

How are poker affiliate managers generally compensated? Salary, commission, a hybrid of the two, or something like salary with bonuses for meeting certain goals? I assume it could vary quite a bit depending on the site and experience but I'm just looking for a general idea.

Thats a hard one to answer you could go with answer "D" all ove the above
But hybrid is best in my opinion as you alaways have a base and you get paid for the work you do and thats what i belive is fair in life.

That very much depends on the operator for which the AM works.

A hungry operator with an affiliate program not meeting the standard in terms of player acquisition will tend to give their AM a high commission and a lower salary. Usually you will find these AMs are the most aggressive at conferences, and they tend to spam affiliates the most.
But some of the best AMs out there relying on their network and know-how (with no aggression nor spam) just prefer to work on that model.

The role of AM is also very different depending on operators: in some places the AM has a strong marketing role, and naturally his wage will more likely be a salary + bonuses when certain objectives are met.

Salary + commission is the most popular model.
