    Jeremy,

    I think the descriptions are great, in that they serve as a guide for where the best place to either post something, or find specific information might be...

    They're obviously not "restrictive" in that they cause us to toss out anything not related to the description - but they serve as a guide no less...

    I think having them helps, even just a little bit - especially for newer folks, or people dropping in to quickly try to find how to do something... Bottom line, I think they help more than hurt - I say keep them - unless removing them serves some sort of greater purpose.

    I voted yes, because although people who have been here know there way around, it is helpful to new members. Also it gets members interested in areas they may never have ventured before, so I think you should definitely keep them

    I'm a noob so I like the descriptions. If I had been here for a while maybe itd be a different story.
