    i think keeping the description will help new members post in the correct section, otherwise things could get a lil messy

    I voted I don't care. But I've actually found it helpful a couple of times. Whoops. I think it looks cleaner without them though.

    I voted yes. I think they really help new members out and I have also used them when going to sub forums I don't normally read/post in.

    I think they should stay, BUT they are too "wordy" and need to be shorter. There is no reason to have a 3-4 line description

    I agree with this. There is no need to rewrite the title in the description. This occurs in pretty much every description and if you take this out I think it will look a lot neater and people will still have the same information to help post in the right section.

    I would agree on cutting them down but not deleting them altogether.

    I responded i don't care because now i know where to look, but i must say that when i first started to peek in the forum they were helpful! Now indeed they are quite long and could be bothering...
