Default Why is poker pie thread locked?

Due to his past and the number of complaints that people have made about him I decided it would be better to let the admins decide on PokerPie and go from there instead of turning this into a 4 page thread on what he has done. There are a ton of posts at PAP for Degen/PokerPie and his other names for people who want to search.

Poker Pie has a 1 day temp ban for now.
I would of been concerned if I knew he was banned, I just assumed he never joined PAL. I don't know this guy at all, but he's been an active member of the forums and has made many good posts and sparked lots of discussion. I'm not aware of his past issues other than a dispute over some rakeback directory where they had hashed it out there.

I'm sorry but saying go search PAP doesn't work for me, because I left it and said at the time I'd never return. Now were saying go search old forum to find out about problems leading him to be banned at a new one. But he wasn't banned at the old one???

Cases like sizzz where affiliates were being ripped off I can understand. I was on PAP everyday I read a ton of threads and I don't recall a bunch of complaints about pokerpie or that he was a risk to affiliates. Also he was not banned there when the same people running this forum now were running that forum. So if he wasn't banned there when you guys were running the show, why is he banned here on the new forum. Did he do something here? Is he a threat to this forum in some way?

I'm sorry if this post is taken the wrong way. I'm not trying to be out of line for the sake of being out of line, but I'm concerned when a member who owns some large sites that was active, and seemed to give a lot of value to forum is banned, thread is locked and no reason is giving.

Also his comments about realizing past stuff won't be tolerated makes it obvious there was past stuff, but he seems sincere and had gone about requesting to be added the right way.. so what's the deal.

Again perhaps there is a bunch more than I know. But if its just because he doesn't get along with PAS and had some dispute over some rakeback directory/ then I don't get it.

Edit: Also reason for quoting Kaus was simply because part of my response was to this post. I realize Kaus is not involved in the decision nor has knowledge on the topic to comment further. I was just quoting that part because portion of my post responded to it.

If you're going to bet US Sports online - I strongly suggest 5Dimes.com or Bookmaker.eu.

Prop I am pretty sure you do remember him. His name was also Degen among other various alias. He was banned by pap from people who owned it before and I banned him multiple times myself for flaming and issues. He is also banned at 2+2 . Yes he contributed but he also caused problems when flaming under a new alias so people wouldnt know it was him among other things that are 10x worse such as threatening to rape someones wife. Because of that I felt that it would be best if people read up on him there...were they can make an informed decision based on his response to his actions and go from there.

Yes people say they change and sure sometimes they do...but its not always the case. Now as far as I know the admins are discussing PokerPie's membership...as of right now I dont have an answer about him.

    Please be patient

Ok, I've heard the name on a couple occasions but really that all. 2+2 drives me crazy. The only forums I skim are NVG and Sports Betting and subscribe to select threads, so I only heard about some of that stuff after the fact.

For flaming on PAP, I was not aware of that. Perhaps it was in that long thread where those two were going nuts on each other. I do remember the multiple account thing but that started when the AP/UB scandal was taking place and it came off initially like he was an affiliate scared to make comments under his own name about the sites (perhaps income to protect) and then once he had the multiple account maybe he let it spin out of control.

Anyways fair enough on the response, and I respect whatever decision you guys make - that's why you're in red and green . However, I'd like to point out that why I don't even know of most of it, any flaming stuff seems like a distant memory to me, and he was very active with a lot of value being added to forums. I don't think that saying "maybe he has changed" is all that far fetched.. and in his post he made he said: I just want to talk about being an affiliate like everyone else and I understand there will not be tolerance with me on the other stuff. Seems fair to give him a chance here, but that's for ya'll to decide.

that was a test post, i dont understand the situation.

i also think it is rather pointed for pokernations to be commenting on this at all since he is the center of 80% of the problems surrounding me so naturally he is going to be biased.

for those who do not know pokernations is the owner of rakereport.net.

i've got no interest in bringing this stuff to pal though and hope you guys will at least give me a chance to prove that. i could have gone on with fake accounts here and such and i have none done that, i haven't even been reading PAL under a fake account and proxy because i knew if i was ever caught that would totally discredit me for being allowed later.

kaus you are aware you are tossing one sided accounts of isolated incidents that happened over a 3+ year span into this paragraph right? much of that never happened on any poker affiliate forum either and was in private or on 2+2/aim etc.

the only problems i have ever had on PAP were over the ownership of rakereport.net (with pokernations) and with PAL.

i give my word i will never bring up either of those issues here on PAL.

i don't see how i wouldn't be a value to this community. maybe ask randy what he thinks as he runs PAP now and i've been posting a lot there. i'm not the best poster on the site but i'd like to think i am pretty far from a cancer...

Sure, I think it only makes sense for you to ask PokerNations to remove himself from this argument then as well. He has an obvious conflict of interest which he is not stating.
