    Jeremy,

Rather than *UPDGRADE* to VB4, you'll probably want to just create a new VBulletin forum with the new license you'll have to buy (forget "lifetime" licenses) and then IMPORT the database from this one to the new one.

That is what I had to do for SF-Fandom.

And, unfortunately, it looks like I'm going to have to import from VB 4.0 to 4.1 as well. For some reason, the upgrade scripts don't want to work very smoothly. Could just be something to do with my server but, frankly, importing bypassed a lot of upgrade steps.

AN UPDATE: Turns out that you cannot import from VB 4.0 to 4.1. However, I was able to take advantage of the command line upgrade option (you have to be able to telnet to the server) and the upgrade went through without a hitch. Your mileage may vary.

I'm using Firefox and PAL has been in and out all night. Sometimes not loading at all, sometimes slow loading, sometimes fine.

I've noticed that it's hanging because of some third-party link but I didn't make a note of it (sorry). It was rather long.

Yea I think it's the tapatalk mobile plugin. We are actually installing VB4 on a .testsite right now with the PAL database. All the plugins, etc. will be updated and 100% before going live. This should take care of any lag.

It seems to have gotten *better* on Chrome, but it still sucks regardless. Still fine in Firefox.
