I'm a big market place user .. as some of ya might have noticed :P hehe. I buy, I sell I advertise, I stalk .. err.. read other people's posts..

I'd honestly been wondering why this forum was so damn dead the last few months. Because the Marketplace is really where I start out my day. But.. I don't get there through the main page of the forum.. .

Everyday I come to PAL, I click New Posts, peruse what's there.. then I click 'My Threads' .. then 'My Replies'.. and then I'm done until I come back later.

I JUTS FREAKING REALIZED, yesterday that marketplace posts don't show up when you click new posts, or my threads, or my replies.

I'm a big fan of the live posts feature, allows me to scan a lot of threads without even clicking on them. Have you tried it?

Yeah once or twice, that's like now stuff though, and doesn't include the stuff I didn't see from last night :O. lol Does the marketplace show up in there? Are there any other sections missing from New Posts btw, or is it just the marketplace?

I'm not sure actually, I typically go to live posts and then to marketplace myself.

Yea I have Live Posts running on one monitor usually all day. Although I suppose owning the joint makes me a little more of a geek in terms of following the forums during the work day.

With that though, that's strange that those aren't showing up. I just checked in the admincp and I don't even see a place where you can include or exclude certain forums in the "New Posts". You can of course do this in your usercp "edit options".

I am wondering if it is because those forums are the only ones that require 30 posts to make a new post in?

That is one of the reasons why I don't like the Marketplace.

I don't even know how to get to the Marketplace from this page! LOL

I think that fixed it! There were no forum area's chosen. Nothing was chosen. I chose none, and now I have something from the advertising section in my new posts .

I also found VB Twitter, Love that. You should email that to me .
