I also suggested he make several posts and meet some people before he makes a post about his service. He's the guy that made that freeroll script so I bet he can contribute quite a bit but I doubt that he will be posting a lot (its all work and no play in India hehe). I don't even know what my point is but basically people like him and xfactor and few others that offer excellent services but don't post a lot still increase the value of this forum a lot.
I agree, yeah a few posts here and there are great. It makes it more pleasant to deal with people anyway. Not required to post a ton!!

I hope i get to meet him here, i may have a few jobs.

    Cheers

LOL that's so funny. Man one day i was talking to a guy about some poker stuff. On skype that is.

I requested a voice chat, and he declined saying he had a phobia.

Some people have fears i guess. None the less he was a great guy!!

    Interesting though!

Wow - just saw this thread but was thinking about this issue a few days ago. I think that those who are not posting should be removed, and furthermore I think that everyone should know who everyone else is in this forum. I know this isn't really possible but it would be nice if everyone that belonged here was known as a member, and it would also help with detecting those that do not belong here. Just my 2 cents.

The main problem with this forum is the screwy invite only thing. It has hardly any members and now people want to kick some out?

    Too weird.

I think there's actually too many members. This is why we had PAP snooping and we didn't know about them. This is why we've already had a scammer. This started off as having only well respected members that everyone knew, then became "invite any random person that asked"

My personal take: I could care less either way.
Doesn't matter to me any of people spy or don't spy. Doesn't matter if we are public or private. Heck I'd even be okay if we created tribal councils and voted off active members. None of it bothers me I don't care how its done.
If you're going to bet US Sports online - I strongly suggest 5Dimes.com or Bookmaker.eu.

I think the issue that cropped up there was some members wanted to help grow the site, but didn't practice due diligence in the process. So when they received a PM at PAP about an invite they thought they were being helpful.

Still, we've got a good group of people here. And if you lead by example you can help shape some of those that you may not be a fan of, into becoming members of the quality you envision.

I don't beleive in "deleting" stuff on forums (other than spam). I know of another forum who started to delete things and it really pissed me off.

I don't care if people post or not, it is not reason to ban them. I do beleive that sucessful forum = building a community. This involves dialogue and some give and take. It can't be all "take". However, just because you don't see it in the forums doesn't mean it's not happening in other ways. Some people like to operate via PMs. Some people have more self control than I do and don't spend their days hitting F5 on an interesting thread anxiously waiting for more people to comment and looking forward to respond (Curse you PAL for making me so unproductive!). I respect that. If someone you invite decides to to post or engage or whatever, that's up to them. Unless you want to start paying us per post, I don't think is a realistic expectation that everyone will make posts.

Anything I post here is because I am willing to share with everyone else, and I also recognise that this forum may not eb private forever. In fact I stated this in a post a while back. So this idea of spying or what ever... Get over it Things or fine and dandy the way they are.
