    Default Remove Inactive Members?

Since this is an invite-only forum, I would recommend we consider removal of those who aren't participating in the community.

I just looked through the member list and there's a good 70+ accounts with ZERO posts on the board.

I would think if we wanted lurkers/voyeurs/spies that we'd have a forum that is open to public viewing.

So my thoughts are that people should be active & contributing in the community if they want to be part of PAL.

Of course, it's not my decision to make, so I'd love to hear input from others on this matter. If inactive accounts bother you in anyway, or if it's a non-issue for you.

Also, even though these accounts have no posts, some may still be logging in and reading things, just not getting involved in the discussions. But then, what are they really bringing to the table? They aren't giving back to the community, they're just here to take...

I see your point on this matter but to be honest, I think some people are just shy. If they are members here, then they have been invited by someone. Maybe whoever invited them should ping them.

And it's also the holidays, maybe many of them aren't at their computers very much right now. I'd give it until the end of January and go from there.

I agree not to kick them, they may visit daily and read what we post and learn and grow from it. Maybe someday they will have a question and make a post.

    Default I'm shy

I'm one of the shy ones and would hate to be turned away . I don't post questions or join in that much but I do visit on a daily bases to read, read and read some more or rather learn, learn and learn some more. This is such a valuable place with, I would regard, the best in the business posting their knowledge. It can be quiet daunting to muster up the nerve to post when knowing most are years, dollars and sites ahead. I know we all have to start somewhere and you are all human , I am just saying its a bit daunting.

But hey I've just posted so maybe I'm getting a little less shy or rather the coffee has kicked in.

I don't think they should get booted. I don't post much but thats intentional. Nicole says that if I get 'too involved' in the different affiliate forums that it will become an addiction and I will end up spending more time on here than working. I lurked at paw for a very very long time so I'm more of a lurker anyway.

The people claiming to be shy in this thread have like 10 or 80 posts or whatever. I'm talking about accounts that were created back in November and still have 0 posts.

I did try to catch some that I missed adding as friends and leaving a comment on. And thus far that has resulted in one of these inactive accounts coming back and hitting the intro thread to introduce himself.

I can't see who invited whom unfortunately, I believe that is limited to admin staff. But that is a great idea to have the inviters get in touch with these people and encourage them to get more active

I think people with 0 posts should also be removed. This is supposed to be a private forum, not forum to leech ideas and never post yourself. I was also for more strict applications to let people get in as well though...

I also agree you should kick inactive members or give a word of heads up. Reason being is you already have a lot of places were two speeds are available, stopped and slow, i have invited 2 people that have not posted, or one posted intro but that's about it. reason i find for this is they were not aware of all the value to find in this group now and in the future, and i understand that BUT, on the other hand its kinda of a privilege, at least that is what i feel nobish affiliate that i am, to be part of this boards. The world is competitive and here i see people sharing stuff that they could omit and keep for themselves, such unselfish act makes me feel that, being given the chance and not taking part is like sh*****g on the host....

Im also know to take stuff to hard sometimes .... its just every thing i learn for free, not from my experience but that might help\grow me i consider a blessing, 0 posts i consider a waste...

But thats me and i could be wrong
