    Default Other Ways To Advertise?

I was doing some thinking today. I realize I don't really know where to advertise my site besides doing SEO. Every website I ever built focused on SEO unless it was a blog then I focus on networking with other bloggers and building my readership.

What are some ways or places to advertise besides word of mouth and SEO?

You could post articles at ezinearticles.com and include a link to your site in each article.

I didn't know facebook allowed poker advertisement. Let me know if they accept your ads. I wouldn't mind giving it a try.

Actually havent done FB advertising yet. But its on "things to do-list". IM pretty sure they do allow it. But you can also do it without paying anything by groups , fan sites etc etc.

Facebook does allow some poker ads, be creative, and try lots n lots until you find one that gets approved .

Other ways I advertise my sites are..

Contributing articles to local papers. (they don't generally have to be original)
    Twitter
I write for sites like eXaminer (if you want a poker related article on there, hit me up, we can probably work 'something' out.)
I answer questions on Yahoo Answers and similar sites.

You might submit some stuff to mags like Card Player (never tried that, but if it's good stuff, it's likely feasible)

Exchange articles with other sites (In fact, we should have an article exchange thread or something).

I know offline marketing has been already touched on in this thread but IMO i think there is a massive opportunity for a new affiliate to take advantage of an offline marketing campaign.
