Default Using PAS for Rakeback Subdomain

    Hi Guys

I'm adding a rakeback subdomain to one of my sites and I've decided on using Poker Affiliate Solutions to do it through. One of the main purposes for this is to help build my player community, by giving the players more sign-up options, monthly promotions, and something else for them to discuss in the forums.

Now, I know next to nothing about rakeback, but I've spent the last hour or so reading through the threads in this forum, which has answered a couple of my questions already. I still have a few questions though which I'm not entirely clear on:

    1. How is PAS making money? This may be a no brainer, I'm assuming they get the subaffiliate revenue for everyone running sites powered by them. Or do they take a cut of your actual rakeback revenue earned?

    2. Does PAS take care of all of the rakeback payments? I understand that PAS will provide templates, hosting, tracking, statistics, etc.. but do I then have to monitor the accounts and make payments to the individual players, or do they take care of that as well?

That's about all I can think of for now!

#1: They are pretty much super affiliates so get a better deal than most can, they make money form your rakeback, I think the magic number is 10k/month to get the highest % back.

#2: They handle everything from payments to your players questions. (I update my site once a month)

They are really good to work with, very helpful in every way the only thing I would have against them was getting rid of Craig he was a very helpful cool guy.

pokerworx answered your questions. I just want to add onto answer 2. They have templates but they suck. (No disrespect to PAS, I love you guys) However, they offer a first time theme match to your site. So I recommend contacting support to get them to match your sites theme.

Also, they just came out with the api beta test so your forum members can have one username and password for both forum and rakeback account.

Thanks Kush and PokerWorx for your answers. I guess to answer my question on how do PAS make money, what I'm really wanting to know is whether they take a cut from my direct revenue. I.e If I get 30% MGR on Tilt and then pay rakeback of 27%, do PAS take a cut out of the 3% left over, or does the whole 3% go to me?

Also thanks for the heads up on the customisation Kush. I did see on their site something to the affect of "Our design team can customise your rakeback page to match your site" , but haven't seen anythign about it since signing up. Once I work out how to configure my server for the subdomain and get the site up and running I'll send support an email.

They have decided not to take a cut from your full tilt revenues because it's such a shity commission. However, with other rooms they get a mgr % new affiliates only dream of. But to keep things simple I am going to use UB as an example.

PAS UB commission - 45% (like all affiliates have been cap to) Now let's break that down to easily understand.

    PAS cut - 10%
    Your cut - 5%
    Players rakeback - 30%

Same as pokerworx, I keep reading once you reach $10k. You get a higher commission at PAS. Since I haven't reach that point yet. I can't comment on it.

Thanks Kush. That answers my question completely.

BTW, how's your big rakeback project coming along?

    @CheckRaise,

There was a music festival in Minneapolis so I have been out and about all day. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Thanks Allan. Nice to know there's people around to help! I've got the site set up and it's propagated, so the fun times are ahead with customisation now. I've already emailed support with a couple of queries, so hopefully you/they will have time to get back to me soon.

Looking forward to working with you

kush is right about the % only they dont show it to you like that, you in fact do not get to see pas's cut amount. they break it down as such

your cut=35% player cut=30% and then your final NET cut is the 5% difference, unless of course the particular offer allows you to allocate a little more to the player to promote and attract more players, then it is less then 5%
