Default Best Time to Play Online?

Just curious as to when everyone plays online the most? Do you guys play during breaks at work or just after work? I have a bit more leeway right now since I'm home full time and can play whenever, but I've noticed some sites are relatively dead during daylight hours.

I normally play around 9pm uk time but I play on the main sites, stars and tilt, so there's constantly games through out the day.

I recently started my new job last week as a security guard, my boss actually asked me if I had a laptop because I'll need it due to not doing much for 9 hours a day.

So, this week I will be putting alot of hours in on the tables. If this week was anything like the last. I'll be putting in around 40+ hours a week.. But that's if my bankroll takes it

iv actually started my own little poker challenge..$10 bankroll, let's see what I can build it too. I have started my blog about it, which makes it a little more fun, sharing my ups and downs.

What room do you play at?

    Hi Edward,

You didn't say anything about your bankroll and your level.

I partially agree with Carl when he says to play in the evening (Uk time) on Stars and Tilt. But keep in mind in these sites the competition is very high, for instance to make good money you need to play for min 7-8 hrs (or even more) in the same tourny. For example 2 days ago one of my players took down the $60k on stars for a cool $10k, but he played for more than 12hrs.

I would suggest you to play on Micro during the night, the competition is pretty soft, the traffic is decent and I personally like the software - for me the Micro software is the best one.

If you are looking for a decent traffic during the day (UK time) I would suggest you iPoker, Ongame and Cereus.

If you need further suggestions, give me a buzz on skype (laura.devenuto) or MSN (lauradevenuto@hotmail.it) and if you tell me what you play, which level and what your bankroll is, I can tell you which site suits better for your skills - that's the very 1st important decision if you wanna boost your bankroll!

    Cheers,
    Laura

Weekends are a donkfest for low limit cash games on FT. You get the recreational players who are willing to gamble. During the week it's mostly regs (not that they are necessarily very good at low stakes).

Weekends are best, but I actually prefer the tables from 11:00 -15:00 gmt at the 50nl-200nl tables since there aren't that many pro players and most of the good players will be working/studying. I guess this changes at 400nl since most good players there play for a living.

I like to play primarily sngs, i usually play at ap and it seems like the softest competition is on between 6am and 10pm USA central time there on $10-$40 sngs.

I find the best time is the evening on the weekends. Throughout the week is horrible, especially during the day. There are so many sharks.

Play lower stakes where there are fewer sharks.
