Well almost certainly not worth it from a type in perspective. Due to competitiveness of term I don't think it helps from an SEO perspective either. So that leaves brand potential to make up for. If you also owned rakebackcompany.com (as a redirect to this domain) and then branded it heavily as Rakeack Company that might work. Still personally I think you're stretching for value here. That's fine if you have more money then opportunity, but if on other hand you have more opportunity than money then there is better uses imo.

For example not too long ago I picked up headsuppoker.net for just over reg fee. This would be an easy site for selling rakeback (heads up players get raked more) plus it doesn't matter as much which site they play on as much and might even find better value at smaller sites that also offer good rakeback deals. Rather then trying to compete and spend big $ simply mixing it up with the huge sites, branching out and finding new ways to introduce rakeback to fresh players seems like a much easier model and perhaps better use of $8500 because can probably build 3 or 4 decent sites with great content and different markets for the same price instead of putting it just into a poor extension domain name.

Just my opinion anyways, and sure others will disagree.

yep i couldn't justify the price tag, and felt whilst its a good domain, they are many more tld rakeback domains, with untapped markets :P

I pre-registered for Slots.co auction via landrush application, and I think the auction will be closed today. Last bid was over 33k. I gave up after bidding $4k LOL
