Pretty interesting..super affiliates get allowed to use FT in domain url, while smaller affiliates have to take their FT-url sites down when they get contacted about this from the FT aff department..

nice job FT.... im not suprised

I might stop promoting FT at all. They treat smaller affis like shit since they became a very powerful brand.

i think it's all pokernews, not 100% sure.

i emailed and complained and they responded with some nonsense about a preexisting contract.

Interesting thread here, my opinion is that FT probably have some outside connection with the super aff's and they purposely only offer rakeback to the super affiliates so that we get no sign ups to FT and with the new rules they've brought in it's making it mostly pointless to promote FT unless you personally know Howard Lederer.

Guy I know I'll take some heat for this, but as a business person/ Affiliate etc - If I am sending quality clients, making a company money, etc - Then I expect special treatment, deals, promotions, better rates, on and on and so should YOU!

Obviously when its YOU getting the special treatment its easy to say things like this, and if you are not getting something special then its very easy to bitch and moan. Its all about perspective.

Again, not trying to be a dick or anything, just speaking the truth. The US is knee deep in people being resentful because one person has something and another doesn't and it could possible end up tearing our country apart.

Now I understand what you are saying, why should you have to take down a FT site and another affiliate doesn't? In most cases I think I would agree with you, but if this affiliate has cut a "special contract" with them then I'm happy for them.

^ is way different than Full Tilt targeting some affiliates and ignoring others.

It is poker news. I used to own the domain and basically gave it to them back in the day......oops.

Funny enough, PAW just sent this email out yesterday as well......

    Dear Affiliate,

Please not that Full TIlt Poker has recently stepped up their investigations identifying domains that use Full Tilt or similar in them.

Under Full Tilts terms and conditions this is not allowed and if a domain is found to breach these terms and conditions it may result in your tracker being closed.

To ensure that your tracker(s) remain active, please ensure that you are only promoting on a domain that would not be seen as misleading to players.

If you have further questions please contact the help desk.

    Regards,
    The PAW Team.
