Rake Update and Rake Reduction Status Update
Due to the following circumstance, Rakeupdate.com and RakeReduction.com will be temporarily inaccessible:
On Thursday August 4th, Elite Affiliate Software (EAS) Owner and Marketing Director Randy Layman, emailed notice that he would be ending his company's partnership with RakeUpdate/RakeReduction, effective immediately. Such a hasty dissolution deprived The RakeUpdate team an appropriate timeframe to prepare an alternative software solution.
On Monday August 8th, Owner and Marketing Director Randy Layman of Elite Affiliate Software (EAS)accessed and issued an unauthorized email to the RakeUpdate.com client base. Mr. Layman used the EAS system to execute this email in the name of support@rakeupdate.com and presented a salutation of "Thank you, Rakeupdate". Be advised that any emails or communication received regarding RakeUpdate/RakeReduction prior to todays update should be disregarded. If you wish to check received email for legitimacy and ascertain the following information:

Hey Tim, not much else I can tell you but keep trying Daniel. Do you have his #?
@ Pokerwox - I did send out that original email because everyone contacts me for RU/RR/EAS related things. Rakeupdate has had plenty of time to get their stuff handled but I guess they are in no hurry.
I really don't want to start bashing them, so I'll just leave it at that. We needed to part ways, and I wish them luck![]()

Hang on. Who owns EAS? Randy do you own that site or do RakeUpdate? The way your PM was worded suggests all you did was "help to develop the software" and "own the domain name". Who is the actually owner of the company EAS?
On a similar note who should I be contacting about EAS issues?

Eric and I own the software and domain - The software was being leased by Rakeupdate - We imported all the old RU subs, players for them as the old Rakeupdate software was broken beyond repair -
Long story short is that we decided to part ways and Rakeupdate is moving everything off EAS back to old Rakeupdate -
Rakeupdate has informed us ALL info, players, subs, etc on EAS is their property. This includes new subs and players that signed up after we launched according to them.
So to be clear:
The software was being leased by rakeupdate
We had a lease agreement which they did not stick to
I was essentially a paid employee of Rakeupdate
I really just wanted to play golf and relax and let RU do their thing. I don't want to seem like I'm out to bash them or anything. Looking back I wish we had launched it ourselves. Once I understood all the issues, we decided to part ways. To avoid being sued, I'm not going to fight with them over subs, players, etc -
