Default Having problems with a poker site on Merge

    Hello all,

I signed up at a site on Merge and have been very upset with how I am being treated as an affiliate.

My affiliate payments are way off and when they pay me on the 15th (last day possible)

I decided to test them out and talked a big player into signing up with them and he did this post Rakeback period, but an employee decided to give him Rakeback when he asked for it after June 1st. I was never even notified about this. When I confronted them about my #s not adding up and that I wasn't receiving 40% rev, they told me that it was all correct in a snotty mannor. I'm convinced that the player is receiving rakeback and 35% cash back rewards. I did the math out for them and they still treated me like I was an idiot. I decided to just shut up about it because I didn't want to jeopardize them not giving me the $1000+ that I was owed at the time.

So now the next month, my player played less and my account at myaffiliates.com says that I will receive X amount of $ and today I received not even half of the amount owed to me in my account.

I have had a couple other problems, but don't want to go into detail nor tell the skin because they owe me a couple thousand after my commission and my winnings. I honestly feel like my arms tied behind my back and that what ever they say goes because they are over sees. I have tried reasoning with them and have explained to them how I can bring them more big players etc and they don't seem to care. I hate the position I'm in and wish I were being valued for bringing a big player. I want to have a long lasting trusting business relationship with them, but they aren't treating me fair.

Can some of you tell me what your % you earn on average each month and what skin you associate with?
I'm wondering the 40% flat rev share #s and Rakeback affiliates #s (which I never signed up for)

Once I get my money from them I will show my screen shots of myaffiliates.com page and will post my conversations that I have had with them. I will also move my player to a different site.

Anyone else have bad experiences like this? Its a shame, I was so excited at first and got a great vibe from them originally.

    Hi KarmaD,

First off, I'm really sorry to hear this. I would contact Merge Gaming about this if you are having major issues with the skin and see if they can contact them on your behalf to resolve this issue. NO AFFILIATE should ever feel that "their arms tied behind their back and that what ever they say goes because they are over sees.", that sickens me.

As for the commissions, for all three of our brands (CarbonPoker, PDC Poker and Aced.com) we offer 40% flat. For rakeback affiliates, the network max we are allowed to offer affiliates is 20%, but usually starts at 10%.

What it seems like to me is that when player was moved to rakeback, he was tracked to the standard rakeback plan, which is 10%. However, if he is still under your Rev Share tracker, you should be receiving commission on the players are your standard rate. Do you see a rev share and rakeback plan in your account?

Please feel free to contact me or add me on skype (atil.singh) if you need help deciphering this issue. I know there are a lot of issues surrounding Merge skins, but not all of them are like this. You have to make sure you align yourself with reputable skins, who have been around for years or have trusted and reliable AM's.

    Thanks.

Thank You Carbon Atil for your response

To make it clear, I have no problem with merge themselves, I just don't want to give out to much info and the skin to come across it etc.
For the record I actually Love merge and thats part of why I'm so upset with this. I was very excited to do business with this skin and only heard good things about them at the time. After I figure it out I will most likely push PokerView now that they made the switch. The manager Art is an awesome guy and has been extremely helpful to me.

My account says rev share 40% and I never signed up as a Rakeback affiliate.

I will add you on Skype for sure and we can talk more about it.

    Thank You

Sounds good. To me it seems like since he was given Rakeback, they would have added the rakeback plan to your affiliate account, which gives you 10%, but if you only have one account, then that wounds strange that your commissions would vary so much.

I look forward to speaking with you.

Sorry I haven't contacted you yet, I'm waiting for a response first from the skins manager and am giving him the benefit of doubt that maybe he doesn't work weekends. I will add you on Skype and would like to chat with you weather I get a response or not from him today.

As of now, nothing has changed and I still am very upset that my "myaffiliates.com" earnings aren't half of what the skin sent to my account. I originally had a problem with this site when I thought myaffiliates.com details were wrong and I'm not being compensated fully for the 40% rev share, and the skin told me how accurate myaffiliates is and how its impossible for a mistake to be made with them and how it all tracked etc. Now whats the story? After I accepted what they told me, I get robbed next month of even more. Looking forward for the managers response and hope he makes things right.
