    Default MGR

MGR is rake - deductions. Do the deductions include all money a player receives when using/converting VIP points to cash?

For example let's say revenue share for a particular poker room (let's call it Room X) pays its affiliates 40% of MGR.

A player signs up through this affiliate to Room X

Pays $100 in rake in the first month. Receives the following from Room X:
    - $10 cashback from a deposit bonus that he cleared with the $100 rake
    - $10 cashback from the Room X's VIP Program (by exchanging VIP points for cash)
    - Room X pays $2 in fees (for currency exchange and all others)
So MGR in this case would be $78. And the affiliates receives 40% of $78 which is $31.20?

    Thanks

Monthly Gross Revenue (MGR) is the gross revenue of your players with no deductions. Some poker rooms and affiliate programs may include deductions in MGR, but the majority doesn’t since this is Gross. Also, some poker rooms and affiliate programs may pass on all or a portion of the actual cash/prizes given to the player.

    From your example:

    MGR: $100
    Deductions: $22
    NGR (Net Gaming Revenue): $78
    Commission (40%): $31.20

    I hope this helps.

Thanks Atil. So for most poker room the rake generated by the player IS the MGR? Is this the case with the brands ChipSplit manages, specifically Aced and Carbon? Cheers

Correct. Through rakeback and our VIP program, players receive rakeback/cash rebates based on MGR with no deductions. ie. MGR is $100 X 35% rakeback = $35 rakeback payment

With ChipSplit we define MGR as the revenue generated by your players (Rake + Tournament Fees) and deductions are subtracted from MGR = NPR X your revenue share.

That's great. So on a site such PokerAffiliateSolutions where the payment to the affiliates for say CarbonPoker is 40% of MGR. This literally means that the affiliate will receive 40% of the rake that a player generates? Cheers Atil.

Like I said, some poker rooms/affiliate sites may have a different definition, but with PAS their publishers receive 40% on the net revenue, just like ChipSplit affiliates.
