    Default Refer-A-Friend

How important does everyone think this truly is. I'm going through some stuff right now that doesn't allow me to easily set up a system for people to refer others to my site. I know a lot of the big rakeback companies do it, but I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle to try to set it up.

    Any thoughts about this subject?

I'd recommend it. Conversions are high for it I find, and people are more likely to sign up if they're referred by a friend. Your players will appreciate it more too, and feel you are doing everything you can to "give back" to them. With your forum, you can even set up referral chain threads for the players, and you'll see a lot more players signing up just based on that.

    Trikkur-

We have found that over the lifespan of every 2 real money players, they will refer 1 real money player.

Extremely important. Considering rakeback is such a niche and our target market is generally a specific player type, referrals are HUGE. I would say a heavily marketed referral program is more valuable than SEO and PR in our industry. Word of mouth marketing has proven to be one of the major success factors of our Publishers as well.

They're all right in here Trikkur, don't miss out on referrals. Although my SEO efforts outweigh referrals numbers they still bring in a decent chunk that I'd never have had.

Once you start snagging and looking after the full time semi-pro players guess who they refer to you..? Uh huh, other semi-pro players.

I'd say that its very important, but you need the tools. Check out what some of the community sites like facebook and hi5 etc does to refer friends. We have done roughly that but for gaming. Takes quite a bit of coding though.

You have to incentivize the users to get it to really kick.

PM me if you have any questions, always eager to help, I just dont check the threads that often.
