Default Do people still use rakeback?

I've got a number of poker sites, and was thinking about making some dedicated to rakebacks. Do people still look for rakeback online? Just curious if it's even worth looking into at this day in age. If so, what rakeback affiliates do you recommend?

Rakeback is being phased out. Players now get indirect rakeback in the form of cashback bonuses and other rewards that make up the VIP program.

I have noticed that a lot of rakeback offers have sort of declined at poker sites. Yet, there are still a handful of good ones offering rakeback deals. I believe they will be eventually phased out and replaced by loyalty rewards and bonuses, like you say, though. It's a tricky one.

It really depends on what kind of players you have.

For the random player that play sometimes a VIP program are more than enough, and with the changes that other mentioned these VIP programs are great to them as they have more focus on rewarding and activating these players more than before which are good. Some of the VIP programs are actually also good for the full time grinder.

The full time grinder will still look for the good rakeback deals and the Fish ratio in the sites, and for the most of the times these players you will earn more on in the long run.

The big established sites that all know have the VIP programs and the small upcoming sites/networks have the RB deals and often its in these small sites you find most value in the player pool.

When all that is said then its a very though buisness and if you dont have a network of players allready i would go for the established sites that all know and trust without directly RB but other rewards(VIP, bonus etc), next problem with the big sites is that alot of players allready have an account on all the established well known sites.

Also some sites make special offers for players you sign up if you have a big volume, so that your players will have more value in the VIP programs than others, for example upgrading the start level of the VIP program, extra bonusses etc

So yes its a tricky one..

But if you have more than one site for pokerplayers why not split it up and do both then?
