    Default Rakeback calculator script

    Hey,

I'm working on a RB calculator, but I am not sure how much rake is generated per hour/100 hands on each level. Each RB calculator gives another answer, and I have no idea which is the closest.

If someone has a table with game type/rake per hour, that would be great. I'll reward you with a link as soon as my site is finished

    Thanks a lot,
    Dirkjan.

I think the best thing you can do is to buy a couple of million hand histories and import them into a pokertracker fx Pokertracker 3.

Then you find a number of players who represents the average cashgame player at the various levels and use their stats. This would also allow you to write a pretty little "how were these numbers calculated" page, where you can explain how you have gone to great lengths to give your users the most accurate rakeback calculations.

Remember that there are different ways of calculating rakeback, and the difference can be significant.

If you aren't familiar with how to do this just shoot me a PM, and I'll help you sort it out - It is much easier than it sounds.

(or you can just get someone elses numbers)

Thanks a lot! Will consider if I can't get hold of someone else's numbers. The biggest problem is finding data for the lowest stakes, since most calculators start at .50/.100 NL, and I'd like to add 0.05/0.10 if possible.

0.05/0.10 can definitely be done by using hand histories, and I think you will se some very interesting things at those stakes :-)

I like your option because it's very precise. But it is also very time-consuming. So if someone made those calculations in the past, and is willing to share in exchange of a link, I would really appreciate it :-)
