The official launch is due soon but you can get ahead of the crowd and snap up a great domain name in advance There are 20 different templates to choose from and your site can be up and running in minutes. You can even market $500,000+ in extra cash promos each month to all your potential players! Then all you need to do is tell everyone about you own site!
Best thing is you pick up 4% of net rake of every player you bring in plus 1% of every player they in turn refer!

4% is low, but RTR has a very good reputation.

I think there templates look awesome and I am sure the backend and promos are great, but I agree to consider using this the percentage would have to be much better for the majority of the rooms especially considering the likely %'s that RTR is getting from programs.

Yeah this is targeting players who don't know about running a website, so there is a niche there. Again, I think this is another case where once players figure out that RTR is getting 5-7 times that margin, the players/affiliates may feel really betrayed and take their friends elsewhere.

Yeah thats exactly why I think it's bad. It might be great initially as it will attract the noobs who dont have an idea, but soon down the line when they do a bit of research they'll realise that there are much better deals/%s. IMO they would be much better off marketing a rakeback engine / pas type system where the %s they're offering will help with player/sub affiliate retention rather than move them away.

    Hi All -

We appreciate the constructive criticism. We have only just launched the program and will be making adjustments in the coming releases/updates. For example being able to deselect rooms, and individual percentages per room. Please do remember that we spend way more money on promotions then any of our competitors and this takes a lot out of our margins, but does serve to attract more players. And Randy your suggestion of 5-7 Margins would infer we are receiving 25-35% margins which I am sure, since you yourself offer rakeback through RU, you know couldn’t be further from the truth.

Anyhow we do aim to meet the high standard set by our competitors and we are more than willing to discuss individual deals with individual partners, something that will be made more easy when we have implemented the other changes discussed.

    Best wishes

    RakeTheRake

I do some rakeback through RU, and I also do several direct offers. You need to take a better look if you think I'm somehow lying/mis-leading about getting 25% or more at several rooms. You being a big rakeback provider should know this?

Also lots of the big rakeback providers spend a lot of money on promos and such, so other rooms offering higher %'s manage to offer more to their players. Although that sounds like a great excuse, its really not. I think you need to remember you are dealing with affiliates here and not players.

Anyway, maybe me mis-understand each other but several rooms offer 25% or more while promoting rakeback. If you don't have some of these rooms, then check around hit me up and we can chat about it.

Also, great to see RTR here, welcome!

    Hi Randy,

Not suggesting you are lying. Just saying that there is not a single room we advertise...not a single room...where we clear 25%

    Not even close my friend

I definitely need to hit you up for some of those rooms. Maybe in Budapest?

    cheers

I haven't looked at what rooms you offer, but there is a load of rooms you can get deals like that at. Obviously some are not open to everyone, but several are (Merge Rooms, etc)

Sorry won't be at Budapest, but I am trying to pick a couple conferences to hit over the next year, would love to sit down and chat with some of the big providers like yourself.

Also, I think 4% of MGR is a good offer for Refer a friend type things. My main point was that if you are going to deal with a website as an affiliate then that is pretty limiting. My guess is that you are going after mainly non webmaster types which is a cool niche.

My big concern would be that eventually if they get serious about it, and realize they could be at least getting double that (which I'm sure we will both agree is doable) then they might be a little annoyed that they could/should have been making double what they have made. Which may cause some hard feelings.

So as a RAF model its great, but otherwise it may lead to some serious issues and cost you some potentially great affiliates or friend referrals.
