    Default Becoming a subaffiliate.

Hi, new to this forum but it looks like the right place to come.

My affiliate knowledge does not go beyond having rakeback myself and I have no allegiance to any affiliate over another.

The upkeep as a subaffiliate seems to be a much simpler operation than becoming an affiliate for each site.

Here are some of my initial questions:

    1) How clean would the link system be? Is it possible we could put a banner on our site linking directly to the poker sites yet existing as a sub through the parent affiliate? If not, how exactly would the process best be put in place?

    2) This is legal within the framework of a US based site and also within the terms and conditions set forth by the affiliate programs?

    3) What kind of revenue sharing agreements does the parent affiliate offer?

This would be put in place on/for an existing website with a lot of poker and non-poker traffic.

    hi bonogi

i've sent you a pm - but to give a brief response here:

    1. incredibly clean, you use the prescribed link and the player enters their username, then the signup is tracker to your site, meaning all accounting (for you, your player and anyone who referred the player is taken care of).

    2. the master affiliate is the one promoting the deals and has an agreement with the poker sites, you are simply referring traffic to a deal.

    3. very good ones, if you choose the right partner!

i've sent you an example of our rakebacklite solution which embeds rakeback engine into your site, so you dont need to do a think, but players also dont need to leave your site to sign up for deals, check their stats or cashout their money.

    Hi Bonogi

As far as linking , I would recommend asking the parent affiliate for custom links and codes (if you choose to go that route). The sign up process rakebackengine described is accurate and is what a lot of rakeback networks use. However, it's optimal to you have your own links and codes. Especially if a good portion of your traffic comes from search engines.

Since you have an existing portal, I would recommend integrating a rakeback system that fits your layout and design. You want your traffic to flow nicely from your main site to your rakeback program. Also, see if you can get an API that integrates your existing database of members (if you have a forum or a site the requires users to sign in). This terminates the issue of asking members to sign in twice: once for your forum and again to access their rakeback stats, trackers, payments, and player support.

and yes, most importantly, best to keep the players on your site, rather than using a single referral code on each deal and sending your players off to some other bigger rakeback site. if you can integrate something into your existing site, then players have another reason to come back to your site to check stats etc. Using PAS or rakeback engine will ensure this can happen.
