Good luck if you jump in, I'm getting back into that game myself soon.
I totally agree mj. I'm currently targeting a load of non rakeback terms to try to achieve this.

On the other hand, i get a disproportionally high amount of sign ups at the smaller networks verses bigger ones due to my high value chases. To say that they don't matter couldn't be further from the truth.
I get rakeback signups at a much higher rate than you mentioned, and this isn't even on pure rakeback sites. Granted I only have 30 or so rakeback players total, but each and every sign up deposited and most still play. I never offer a free pony when someone generates $200 in rake. Why? Because I don't believe in being an idiot who circumvents affiliate T&Cs, which is what all of them do.

I know many, many online players who would be major players for any rakeback affiliate. I can assure you that none of them give a shit about rake races or prizes.

That being said, I can't wait till rakeback as a whole goes up in flames.

Also, don't use RakeTheRake or Rake Update, use PAS if you are going to do rakeback and insist on a third party site.

I know many, many online players who would actually be major players for any rakeback affiliate. I can assure you that none of them give a shit about rake races or prizes.

There's a good chance that you get a higher conversion rate than i do because my sites rank for terms that get alot of affiliates clicking to check out my sites. I can only go by clicks versus sign ups. I can't control who clicks. There's also a good chance that you sites are better than mine, and you're a better affiliate than i am. I wouldn't doubt any of those. I still propose that you'd get more sign ups with races than without them.

So, we have all agreed that most rakeback players are savvy which leads me to believe that they are in to rakeback for the extra profit, yet they would not take in to consideration rake chases or any other form of extra money?

What a load of bollox! and if you think about what you are saying you will agree.

I have many players that will argue the case with you.

That being said, I can't wait till rakeback as a whole goes up in flames.

    4. What's the average income rate per player on a monthly bases?

    Around 20$.

Tony from PAS wrote a couple of really interesting posts about the value of rakeback players a couple of months ago.

I would make a $10,000 bet that I could find 100 MSNL grinders in 30 days who have rakeback and don't care one bit about rake races or prizes.

I have generated $5,000+ in MGR on multiple occasions, these stupid incentives never mattered because they are a pittance when compared to what games I am playing.

There is a difference between smart players and cheap players, the cheap ones care about these "circumvent the rules" incentives.

JD, I completely know your view on rakeraces and freerolls. (Read the whole thread you guys had a few weeks ago) Please don't have this convo in this thread. I really want answers on my questions and not a debate on weather or not to run rake races and freerolls.

    Thanks

That's fine, I was going to drop it all but then someone else brought it back up.
