Default SEO Hosting .. Or no?

4flush was down last night.. issue with the hosting..

Anyway .. 4flush is on SEOHosting.com it's on an account that gives it and every other site on the account their own dedicated IP. But if google knows the sites are all entangled, isn't that rather pointless?

If ya check the screenshot.. I went to 4flush, and google told me to try the home paqe, noace.net, which is the account holding domain.

Ah the age old question, to seo host or not to seo host.

I think they provide a good service and use them for my carbon bonus site and others.

It's weird that it offered to redirect to your main domain. Maybe there is some code that does that when one of your sites is temporarily offline ?

It will be interesting to see the answers, as this kind of negates the whole different IP thing

Hardly anyone participates in these types of threads - I'd love to hear answers myself!

What is the price for this? You can get dedicated hosting IP's at godaddy for $2 a month

Pretty much everyone will give you dedicated IP's for a couple bucks a month, I would strongly advise NOT hosting at Godaddy.

Lady especially probably needs a VPS.

It is dedicated IP's on separate C-classes. I recently started using it myself, but I am pretty much going on faith alone. I am nowhere near enough of an SEO expert to tell you whether or not using seohosting helps. But since I am an ignorant American, I may as well use the service that their sales page says helps me the most. Right?

Why is that? I hear people say this all the time, yet I've had dozens of sites with godaddy over the years, never had a site down, never had a problem, and get great customer service. I have literally never had a problem there.

Some of the best and most profitable websites I know are hosted at godaddy? What would be the issue?

Also, I think most people over think this and place too much importance of the possible SEO aspect of their hosting plans. Hosting is mainly important for things like space, bandwidth, etc.

You true SEO will come from good links, good content, etc.

Why would 4flush need a VPS? The site itself has lots of pages, but its not a bulky site with soem type of software running that would require a large amount of bandwidth..

A VPS (or even dedicated) isn't only a good idea for bandwidth Randy, it provides a much more reliable and stable base to plant your sites on with less chance of any disruption caused by others. I don't know the ins and outs of 4flush but to me, having my sites down for a day could cost me hundreds of dollars, paying for a premium hosting service isn't something I think twice about.

On the issue of SEO Hosting, I tried them once but they're pretty expensive. I remember someone recommending Skynet on PAP, I prefer them and they have provided me with decent support and a better service.
    Sort of ex-rakeback affiliate.

For me it's just a neighborhood issue, check out how many domains you are associated with on a shared account at Godaddy.
