Wordpress and All in one SEO plugin

I'm using wordpress together with the All in one SEO pack plugin.

But my question is, do I need to add the tags using the normal wordpress post editor (on the right side) or use the one in the bottom from the All in one SEO pack plugin? Or both?

The All in one SEO pack plugin also allows you to add a title, description and what not. Do I need to fill those out, or phrased differently, will the normal wordpress title and description be used when I don't fill the SEO one out?

Why are you using the plug-in? You don't need it to set those fields.

All in One Seo, gives themselves credit in source code (making it easy to identify your site at wordpress). Later when you might want to change and secure your site and code better this is a hard plug into to quickly get away from. My suggest would be to stop using it now.

If you do want to use a plug in use headspace2 as it has all the same features as All in One Seo plus additional options and functions much better.

Also you can use custom fields and not use any plug ins at all.

Thanks, I'll be removing the plug-in. I used it mainly because everyone said it was a must have for your wordpress site.

It did help me get a nice text under link in google.

It did help me get a nice text under link in google.

You should still be able to get that snippet in your Google search results with the default Wordpress installation.

But understand that the same page can appear in 100 different queries with different snippets for each query. Meta descriptions are useful for targeted queries but most pages seem to get traffic from multiple queries.
