    Default error codes in awstats

I've never paid much attention to these errors, but that's probably just dumb on my part. Problem is I have no clue what to do to make them go away.

    HTTP Error codes* Percent
    301 Moved permanently (redirect) - 2575 Hits - 41 %

    404 Document Not Found 1784 Hits - 28.4 %B

    302 Moved temporarily (redirect) - 1437 Hits - 22.8 %

    206 Partial Content - 470 Hits - 7.4 %

    406 Document not acceptable to client - 6 Hits - 0 %

    500 Internal server Error - 3 Hits - 0 %

    400 Bad Request - 2 Hits - 0 %

So should I care about these? Obviously, I'd liek to at leats get rid of the 404's. Don't know if the rest is important.

Additionally, when I look at the details of my 404 errors, the info seems to be wrong.

For instance, I have an 404 error on http://www.mypokercorner.com/poker-p...pokerstars.png and this is accurate because that page doesn't exist. But in the next column, the "referer" is http://www.mypokercorner.com/poker-p...book-deal.html and if you look at the source code of that page, the url shown as 404 error isn't even listed on that page. So I am a little confused as to why this error appeared to begin with.

Personally the last time I looked at AWStats was sometime in 2006, I used to see errors such as that which didn't make sense and then I realised it's really inaccurate at measuring statistics anyway.

You may already do so, but if you don't I'd advise either Analytics or Statcounter and get a Google Webmaster Tools account to find and diagnose any problems.
    Sort of ex-rakeback affiliate.

I did look into analytics and there's only like 1 error in there. So I guess I don't need to bother with this.
