Any estimates on how much the site is raking in per month (assuming CPA) ?

I'd have to think ~ 100K based on the breadth of its rankings for generic terms like "poker online", "poker" and branded terms like "Pokerstars", "Full Tilt Poker" and a huge slew of others.

Maybe it's more like 200K though, would be interested to see what your estimates are.

If this is anywhere near close then hats off to this guy he's found a way to make some serious coin. He knows it won't last forever but he's managed to game the system and will reap the rewards.

Talking to some folks, it looks like I grossly overestimated here.

Make that 5 figure range per month.

With the variety of different terms that it's currently ranking for, I think it's foolish to think six figures is out of the question.

I think i've posted this before, but Google has made it quite clear that comment spam will get penalised, or at least ignored in the future.

I use a lot of "link-gaining" methods, but since reading this i have completely ignored leaving comments on blogs unless it is totally relevant....

google says alot of things. these sites have been running for a long time. fact is they either dont nuke em or take a long long time to do so at which point a spammer can just wash, rinse and repeat.

Exactly. It's obviously not a long term plan for one site, but these have been ranking long enough to clearly make a huge profit. A week of having those rankings is easily worth what it would take to pay someone to build you a 100 page site, and then pay someone to blog spam. A few months of ranking and it is without a doubt making large amounts of money.
