new form of comment spam

Hello top SEO gurus,


So some spammers seen to be able to bypass moderation on some moderated wordpress blogs; even these are moderated blogs, they comment and get auto-approved.

Anyone seen that?

I'm just guessing here.. Lots of blogs let you choose the option to approve comments automatically from posters that have been approved before. So then the posters post a decent comment, with no links.

Then they target older posts that you probably wont even notice.

Yep, this is actually the default wordpress setting (i think).

Unless you own the specific blog you posted, you have NO WAY of knowing whether or not what LadyHoldem said was true or not. Regardless, I'm certain she was just trying to offer a possible answer to your question.

Here is a suggestion - post your question here and wait 3 mths+ for it to be answered if your lucky. Maybe then you'll begin to appreciate the free and almost instant help that people offer here and can avoid the insults.

Not surprisingly, my post was not understood. No wonder I had put "top guru".

The url I gave is a MODERATED blog. The spammer managed to get his comment without the blogger moderating that one. This is a leak affecting wordpress, at hundreds of ""MODERATED"" (in French "modéré" if you do not understand English) blogs.

OMG you are lucky you are not in the same room as me, I'd give you the biggest face slap you stupid rude bitch.
