Why on earth would you want to do that? I would rather have my logo and url in the video and have anyone and everyone embed it on their sites. Great for branding and traffic.![]()
You need to edit your .htaccess file. More information is available through "htaccess disable hotlinking" search. You find you can costumize things like allow some domains, or just for certain file formats.
One website you might find relevant is Disable Hot-Linking of images and other files
Maybe you should just upload your videos to YouTube or Vimeo, create a brandable channel, and let people hotlink/embed away.

If your site is in a position where this is a problem, that is a good thing. Pay for better hosting and consider it to be the cost of acquiring links. I think that is a pretty reasonable link budget.

You can also use Youtube and use the UNLISTED feature. This way people will not be able to search for your videos thru YT or G. They will not show up, but you can still embed them.
How can this be useful?
Well it can actually be free hosting for a video series you send thru auto-responder, or perhaps want to only have access to a certain area of your site or forum.
