Sorry you think that of the video - This actually got a good comments on GPWA and in our evaluation doc 22.2% said it was above expectations and 33.3% said it met expectations (5.6% said it was below and 38.9% said they didn't attend so N/A) so guess just different people with different veiws.....Hopefully the next one I post will be better for you guys!

Re the comment about my posts - Actually I do think that is a bit rude because I 100% post when I can help or have a comment that is relevant, many threads in this forum are either about selling content/links/sites, too technical/SEO for me or simply watercooler type threads so I don't or can't post.

These videos are sort of marketing for us but that isn't the reason I post them as tbh I can't imagine they drive that many delegates to us and if I really anaysed their cost, my time etc they have probably the worst ROI of all our activuty - The reason I post them is because many affiliates can't make our events and have requested I do this.....I really don't mind constructive criticism butyour post about my posts is basically ridiculous.

I found it interesting, especially the 9 month worth of traffic. What might not be useful to us may be useful to the semi decent seo'er. Keep posting links, ignore the hate.

Alex, serious question, what useful information do you think is contained in the videos?

IMO the presenters make far too many assumptions and do not give out enough information. They don't explain anything about their link building techniques. They don't explain anything about their onpage SEO methodology. The only "useful" information relates to doing a bunch of internal 301 redirects to target a once off/seasonal event in order to boost the rank of a certain page.

Just watched this video and this is probably one of the best seo sessions I have seen from the conferences. You should definitely get these 2 back for London as they seem to really know what they are talking about and good at getting their points accross.

I didnt ask what a hand selected person who may or may bot be an igb shill posted on another forum. I asked what useful information you thought was contained in this presentation. The average $2/hour SEO from DigitalPoint wouldn't even have posted that this was one of the best seo sessions they've seen.

The only possible explanation i can think of for this comment: "Just watched this video and this is probably one of the best seo sessions I have seen from the conferences.", is that the person saying it was trying to be ironic by highlighting how crap previous videos were (again this may or not be the case, but it's definitely not unfeasible".

I think if you're going to market videos like this then it would be beneficial to get these SEO gurus you're hiring to give some value so that people who watch the videos can actually learn something about current industry trends or certain tricks that are currently being employed by the aforementioned gurus. Adding true value like this might actually get you some positive feedback.
